Narrative description of Project:
The Epidemiology Web Application identifies animal health and welfare problems triggering a rapid and effective diagnosis, response, and control, which is being done through data collection and analysis of information regarding animals diseases and laboratory results. In accordance with this the web application can be integrated with EPI-INFO that is a standard application used to store, analyze and generate statistical reports.
The Epidemiology system:
- Is used by regional Epidemiology unites to store, analyze and share reports and data on animals diseases throughout the country
- Used by the regional epidemiology Unites, these unites will be able to enter the data they collected from Region using Disease Reporting Form (DRF) and Laboratory Submission Form (LSF)
- Can export related data to EPI-INFO for the purpose of statistical analysis and report generation
